With Office 2003 and SharePoint 2007, I got this issue several times, which is not hard to fix. However, there is no "Microsoft Office Diagnostics" with Office 2010. So if the Office 2003 components and Office 2010 installed on the same computer, how can we fix the IE crashing issue?
The easiest way I found is to upgrade the web browser from IE 8 to IE 9.
